JULIUS M. WINDSOR Julius M. Windsor, age 76, of Boyceville, WI died Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at Red Cedar Medical Center in Menomonie. He was born Dec. 20, 1929 in Boyceville, WI to Julius C. and Blanche (Eavland) Windsor. He was raised in Boyceville and as a young man he hauled canned milk before moving to Solon Springs where he worked as a lumberjack. Julius married Della Lawrence on July 17, 1950 in Wabasha, MN. He continued his work in logging in Minnesota before serving in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. After serving in the Army, Julius and his family moved to Milwaukee where he worked for Crane Manufacturing from 1956 until his retirement in 1986. Julius enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on small engines. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Julius is survived by: His wife, Della of Boyceville His children, Marv (Barb) Windsor of Fredonia Russ (Kathy) Windsor of Waupaca Mel Windsor of South Milwaukee Cis Seelig of Oak Creek Boo (Linda) Windsor of Amherst Junction Jerry (Paula) Windsor of Cudahy Jody Windsor of San Diego, CA 25 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren 4 great-great-grandchildren 3 brothers and 1 sister, Rich (Millie) Windsor of Boyceville Bob Windsor of Boyceville Don Windsor of Bennett Esther Nelson of Illinois He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raymond; a granddaughter, Bonnie; 8 brothers and 3 sisters; a sister-in-law, Jan Windsor and a special son-in-law, Peter Seelig. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at Hay River Lutheran Church, in the Town of Hay River, Dunn Co., WI with Pastor Andrew Hinwood officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Harmon-Harris American Legion Post #314 of Boyceville. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
