William L. Wang

William LeRoy Wang, age 69, of Menomonie, WI passed away Saturday, Mar. 18, 2017 at The Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie.

He was born June 7, 1947 in Menomonie, WI to Marvin and Dorothy (Wolfe) Wang. He was raised in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School.

Bill was an owner/operator with Anderson Trucking in St. Cloud, MN for 24 years in the heavy haul division. He compiled three million miles of safe driving.

Bill was an avid NASCAR race fan. He enjoyed competing in the National Truck Driving Competitions and he enjoyed hunting, welding, playing cards and shooting pool. He was also a member of the Menomonie Moose Lodge.

Bill is survived by his children, Todd (Keri) Wang, Joddi (Cindy) Wang, Tina Wang (Tom Franzwa); grandchildren, Brooklyn (Josh) Hanson, Blaine Sand, Dalton Wang, Madison Wang and Nicole Harshman (Andy); his sister, Sharry (Jerry) Bolle; nephew and nieces, Mike (Mary) Bolle, Lori (Bruce) Fransway, and Brenda Hartung; also brothers and sisters, Violet Brown, Patricia Wang (Cynthia), Rodney Wang, Joseph Wang, Peter Wang (Tina), Susie (Craig) Zolnik; sister-in-law, Rayola Wang; step-mother, Louanne Kistner; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Wang, mother Dorothy Kistner, step-father Darrell Kistner, step-mother Bonnie Wang Bosben, a brother Wayne Wang, nephews, David and Randy Wang and a great-niece Jessica Hartung.

The family would like to thank The Neighbors of Dunn County and St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care.

A service by Menomonie Moose Lodge 1584 will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie followed by a Memorial Service with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. on Monday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co. WI.
