Willard LaVerne Quarderer Obituary (1920 - 2016)

Willard L. Quarderer, age 95, passed away January 17, 2016. He was a resident at The Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He was born on October 3, 1920 and grew up in Sheridan Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin, the son of John and Lena (Wiseman) Quarderer. Willard graduated from Prairie Farm High School, Prairie Farm, Wisconsin in 1939. He married Glenna Guldvog on September 23, 1944 in Pine City, Minnesota. Willard was an award winning Wisconsin cheesemaker for more than 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed watching his great grandsons, “the little guys being boys”. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna; parents, and 12 siblings. He is survived by his sons, Bradley (Linda) and Darrell (Janet); his granddaughter, Jennifer (Blair) Berger; and 3 great grandsons, Blake, Ethan and Aaron, and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to The Neighbors of Dunn County or any charity of donor’s choice. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Duane Walker officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Prairie Farm, WI at a later date.
