Sylvester “Bud” Karis Sylvester “Bud” E. Karis, age 80, of Menomonie, WI passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Bud is survived by his wife, Joanne of Menomonie; four daughters, Terri Karis, Pat (Lon) Wilson, Pam (Bob) Walker and Sharon Winters; daughter-in-law, Judy (Dave) Young; step-daughter, Julie (Ken) Pautz; two sons, Tom (Kim) Karis and David (Kimberly) Karis; step-son, Brett Mousel; three sisters, Audrey Timmers, Arlene Flohr and Shirley Keach (Nevin Zezza). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary; son, Brad; sister, Laverne and parents, Ernest and Mary Karis. A Celebration of Bud’s life will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. (4:00 sharing memories and stories) Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Pinewood Golf Course, N4545 440th St., Menomonie.
