Suzann M. Henke Obituary (1951 - 2018)

Suzann M. Henke, age 67, of Colfax, WI went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at the Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie. She was born July 6, 1951 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Patrick and Viola (White) Hobbick. Suzann married Arlan Henke on Oct. 12, 1971. She and Arlan were blessed with their beloved daughter Rachel. Despite physical limitations, Suz was an inspiration to all. Suzann was survived by her husband Arlan; daughter Rachel; grandson Jonah (Mikaela); her mother Viola; siblings, Ruthie, Nan, John, Janet and Alan; mother-in-law Beatrice; Arlan’s siblings, Dan, Joy, Mark, Dean and Paul; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Patrick; daughter Abigail; father-in-law Harlan; brother-in-law Scott. The family would like to thank the staff at The Neighbors of Dunn County for the wonderful care they gave Suz. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Paul Pillman officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Cedar Falls Cemetery in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn Co. WI, with Pastor Paul Pillman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
