Stanley R. Roth Obituary (1955

Stanley R. Roth, age 67 of Boyceville passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home after a small birthday celebration with friends. Stanley was born January 16, 1955 to Toncred and Nandee (Woods) Roth in the Town of Sherman, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Stanley would always start his day with coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, not forgetting the low volume of country music in the background. He was known for how much he enjoyed singing Johnny Cash songs, his love of horses and his country-living kind of life. When the opportunity arose for karaoke, you knew Stanley would have a mic in his hand as soon as he entered the room. He was also known for making people laugh. He enjoyed telling jokes and tall tales to friends and family over coffee and beer. Stanley divorced in 1989 and during his marriage he had 2 children. He was a friend to many; his stories and contagious laughter will be greatly missed by so many of his loved ones. Stanley is survived by his son William (BJ) Roth, daughter Andrea Roth (Joey Adams), step-son Christopher Kuhl (Cassandra), his fiancé Margaret Davis, 9 grandchildren, brothers Butch (Cindy) Link, Joe (Nora) Link and sister May (Gary) Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents Toncred and Nandee, step-father Arthur Link and brother Merle Roth. There will be a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. In remembrance of Stanley Rae Roth, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Andrea Roth (911 Auth Street, Durand WI 54736) which will be applied toward funeral expenses.
