She was a lifelong member of the AFSCME Union, serving in various positions. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Menomonie Wisconsin and in her later years she served on the Dunn County Board of Supervisors representing District 22. She was the daughter of a veteran and mother & grandmother to veterans and always supported the Armed Forces, if not always their Commander & Chief. Sarah is survived by her brother Thomas G. Kennedy the Third of Roanoke Virginia, her sons Andrew (Brenda) Lorenz, Brian (Kim) Lorenz and her daughters Cassie (Brandon) Jorgenson, and Julia Blodget, three grandsons Brian, Jack and Landon; three granddaughters Kati, Alexandria and Payton; two great grandsons Ryder and Kenneth and nephew Ian Van Buskirk of Brookhaven, GA.
