Sarah M. Hein Obituary (1976 - 2021)

Sarah M Hein was called home peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021 after her battle with cancer. Sarah was born in Menomonie on January 7, 1976 to Norman and Naomi Cone. She graduated from Menomonie High School in 1994. Sarah loved to cook; at least we think she did or we all just asked her to because no matter what she made it was always delicious. Sarah started working at Fleet Farm in 1999. She worked there for 20 plus years until she was no longer able. Sarah loved her Fleet Farm family. Since 2019, between treatments Sarah also worked at Mayo Clinic Heath System-Red Cedar. Sarah had a knack for flowers. She was our go to person to help identify what kinds of flowers they were and how to arrange them into beautiful arrangements. Sarah is survived by her parents Norman and Naomi Cone; her fiancé Bart Strehlo; sons AJ (Ashley) Hein, Nate, and Hunter Strehlo; daughter Samantha Hein; sisters Darcy (Brad) Simonson and Amanda Cone; grandson Hudson Hein; nephews Justin and Willy Simonson; niece Madison Cone; great aunt Mary Kiekhafer and uncles Jim Cone and Charlie Cone. A Private Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Rev. LeRoy Nelson officiating. The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/OlsonFunerals. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Dunn County Fish and Game in Menomonie. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is assisting the family.
