Phyllis J. Vollrath Obituary (1923 - 2010)

PHYLLIS J. VOLLRATH Phyllis Jean Vollrath, age 86 of Menomonie, WI passed away Wed. March 17, 2010 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Phyllis was born May 14, 1923 in Kentland, IN to William and Myrtle (Harris) Noble. She married Delmar Edward Vollrath on Aug. 6 1941 in Monticello, IL. Phyllis worked as a school secretary and later at a winery in Monee, IL before moving to Menomonie in May of 1981. Phyllis was a member of St. Paul's UCC in Monee, IL and First Congregational UCC in Menomonie. She enjoyed reading, traveling and her flower garden. She will be sadly missed. Phyllis is survived by: son Del Vollrath of Menomonie daughter Taye Wiegel of South Elgin, IL grandchildren Michael Vollrath of North Freedom, WI Michelle Vollrath of Madison, WI Graigory (Julie) Wiegel of Elgin, IL LeighAnn (William) Fong of Palatine, IL great grandchildren Ian, Danica Frances, and Holden Wiegel brothers in law Eugene (Loubelle) Vollrath of Olympia Fields, IL Earl Hoel of Monee, IL Also surived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents, husband Delmar, daughter in law Mickey Vollrath, brothers; Don, William, Kenneth and George, sisters; Marjorie and Geraldine. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, with visitation beginning at 10:00am, Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Paul's UCC in Monee, Il with Pastor Peggy Johnson officiating.
