Phillip L. Rank Obituary (1947 - 2015)

Phillip L. Rank, age 68 of St. Paul, MN formerly of Menomonie passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Unity Hospital in Fridley, MN. Phillip Loren Rank was born on March 10, 1947 in Menomonie, WI to Gilbert and Alma (Hovde) Rank. As a young man Phillip moved to St. Paul, MN where he worked for St. Joseph’s hospital for many years. He will be sadly missed by his family & friends. Phillip is survived by eight siblings: Marvin, Gordon and Ruben Rank, all of Springbrook, WI, Bev Sweeny, Sharon Kortz, Gloria Tonco, all of Minnesota, Bruce Rank of New Richmond and Joyce (Mike) Riley of Deer Park, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Dean, a sister Marlys Wald, and four brothers: Ray, Delmar, Roger and Byron. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Menomonie with Pastor Mitch Nelson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in the Township of Dunn, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie is serving the family.
