Pamela J. Ketcher Obituary (1956 - 2022)

Pamela (Pam/Pammie) Jo (Bauer) Ketcher, age 65, of Menomonie, WI passed away peacefully in her home April 13th, 2022. Pam was born in May of 1956 in Afton, MN to Harold and Eileen (Amon) Bauer. A few years later, they relocated to North St. Paul where Pam also attended high school. Pam married Joseph (Butch) Windschittl in 1974. Butch had a daughter, Jennifer, from his first marriage and Pam loved her very much. In the fall of 1974, Pam birthed her only daughter, Nicole, into the world. Pam and Butch remained married for nine years yet were very dedicated to their roles as parents together, even after they were divorced. In 1986 Pam married Steven Ketcher and was elated to welcome his three children into her heart. Even though the marriage ended, her love for Aaron, Matthew, and Halie never wavered. Pam devoted her mind and body to Jehovah in the last era of her life. She found great peace within the arms of her brothers and sisters from Glenwood City and then Menomonie. Pam also found great joy from her neighbors, sharing the word of Jehovah, volunteering with the elderly in her community, and helping out wherever/whenever she could. Whether it was advice, a hug, a smile, sharing food, a laugh or cry, Pam was happy to do so. She always looked forward to the next opportunity to be of service. Pamela is survived by her father, Harold Bauer; two sisters, Holly (Curt) Zellmer, Denise Bauer; three daughters, Nicole (Eric) Peterson, Jennifer (Shaun) Ryan, Halie (Josh) Ketcher; two sons, Aaron Ketcher, Matthew (Tina) Ketcher. Pam is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her mother Eileen, her sister Cherie, her brother Matthew, grandparents John and Agnes Amon, Matthew and Stella Bauer, her very best friend Laurie Schuebel. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
