Nancy S. Woodard Obituary (1961 - 2019)

Nancy S. Woodard, age 57 of Colfax, Wisconsin, died at her home on March 4, 2019. She was born on March 18, 1961 to Betty Mae and Alfred John Butzler in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Nancy grew up in the Rice Lake, Clayton area. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1979 and then joined the United States Army. She served as an Army medic. During that time, she met her husband Steven Woodard. They married on March 14, 1980. Over the years, they were blessed with 5 beautiful children; Rebecca, Steven Jr., Alonzo, Katalyna and Marissa. Nancy was a stay at home mom until Marissa was in kindergarten. At that time, she worked at D.E.T. with her husband. In 2000 Nancy got her college degree in Medical Administration. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Nancy loved spending time with everyone. Nancy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steve Sr., children; Rebecca (Shane) Bos of Rice Lake, Steve Jr. (Shannon) of Colfax, Alonzo (Jen) of Elmwood, Katalyna of Menomonie, and Marissa of Rice Lake. She is also survived by her siblings; Shirley, Roger, Mark, Bob, Sandy, Linda and Mike. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Betty Butzler, her niece Jenny and nephew Austin. No formal services are being held at this time.
