Miguel A. Mendoza Obituary (2005 - 2022)

Miguel A. Mendoza, age 17, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2022 in Texas. He was born on October 19, 2005 to Cesar Mendoza Romo and Jessica Mendoza. Miguel was the youngest of his siblings and he was known to be the comedian of the family, being funny and sometimes goofy. He would find a way to make people laugh and be happy, and almost always had a smile on his face. Miguel had an interest in computers, making music, and enjoyed hiking. Miguel and his brother, Angel, had plans to go hiking in Colorado. He enjoyed walking around his hometown, of Blair, WI with friends, spending time with his family, holiday dinners with his dad and siblings, playing with his nieces and nephew, as well as his cat, Genji. Before moving to Houston and attending Klein High School, Miguel lived in Blair, Wisconsin and attended Blair-Taylor High School and participated in wrestling, football, and track. He also played percussion in the band. Most recently, Miguel took up downhill longboarding which he really enjoyed. Miguel is survived by his father, Cesar Mendoza Romo; mother, Jessica Mendoza (Eric Fisher); and siblings, Yesenia Isabella Mendoza, Cecilia Beatriz Mendoza, Angel Cesar Mendoza, and Layo Mendoza. He is further survived by his grandmother Beatriz Romo Guerra, and nieces and nephews. Miguel will be missed greatly by his friends and especially by his family. A prayer service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday November 16, 2022 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Father John Mano officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Lunch will be served following the prayer service. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.
