Mamie Sneen Obituary

MAMIE SNEEN Mamie Sneen, age 94, of Menomonie, died Friday, October 11, 2002 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. The former Mamie Puhl was born Oct. 19, 1907 to Otto and Louise (Olson) Puhl in Menomonie. She married Leonard Sneen on June 25, 1927 in Menomonie, WI. Together they farmed in the twp. of Red Cedar, Dunn Co. Mamie also was a nursing assistant at Memorial Hospital in Menomonie for 15 years. She was a member of Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church. Mamie is survived by: 2 sons David (Jackie) Sneen of Slinger, WI Donald (Bonnie) Sneen of Gold Canyon, AZ 5 grandchildren Cheryl (Chris) Pope Deborah (Tom) Purfuerst Mark Sneen Kurt Sneen Lisa (Johnny) Josephson 6 great-grandchildren Colin, Carly, Abby, Kyle, Claire and Matt Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Leonard and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11 AM on Tues., Oct 15 at Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church in the twp. of Dunn with the Rev. Steven Carlson officiating. Burial in Little Elk Creek Cemetery. Visitation from 10 AM until time of the service at the church. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is handling the arrangements.
