MABLE B. WAGNER Mable B. Wagner, age 90, of Menomonie, WI died Sunday, February 23, 2003 at Myrtle Werth Hospital / Mayo Health System in Menomonie. The former Mable Bertha Quilling was born on June 13, 1912 to Samuel and Anna (Dahms) Quilling in the Town of Springbrook, Dunn Co., WI. She married George Wagner on June 11, 1932. Together they farmed in the Town of Red Cedar, until moving to Menomonie in 1968. Mable was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church before becoming a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Menomonie, where she was very involved in church activities. She also loved gardening and playing cards with her friends. For the past 13 years Mable has resided at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Dunn County Health Care Center for all their special care these past years. Also thanks to the Myrtle Werth Hospital staff for their wonderful care. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mable is survived by: Her daughter, Audrey Cropp of Menomonie Grandchildren, Eugene (Gretchen) Cropp of Madison Sheryl (Thomas) Griebel of Chippewa Falls Jeffrey (Denise) Cropp of Plymouth, MN Patrick Wagner of Prescott Sara Wagner of Shakopee, MN A step-granddaughter, Peggy Rodey of Whitehall Eight great-grandchildren 2 sisters both of Menomonie Pearl Schneck and Florence Sipple 2 sisters-in-law both of Menomonie Alice Quilling and Helen Wagner Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George in 1973; 1 son, Donald in 1978; 2 brothers, Earl and Ralph Quilling and an infant brother, Leroy; and a son-in-law, Loren Cropp. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, Feb 27, 2003 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Brett Voigt officiating. Spring burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Spring Brook, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
