Luretta C. Lynch Obituary (1942 - 2015)

Luretta C. Lynch, age 73, of Menomonie, WI passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Eau Claire. Luretta Carol Legitt was born June 5, 1942 in Tacoma, WA to Frank and Minnie (Marks) Legitt. She was raised in Tacoma and attended school there. On April 14, 1966, Luretta married Richard Lynch in Tacoma and in 1968 they moved to Menomonie. She has worked in food service most of her life. Luretta loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling and crocheting blankets and especially loved the Christmas season with all the decorating and activities. She will be sadly missed. Luretta is survived by her husband Richard; her children, Steve (Melodi) Lynch, Carol Bonner, Rick (Lucy) Lynch and Aimee (Randi) Cronk; grandchildren, Stacey Bonner, Christa Lynch, Michael Hovind, Robert Lynch, Daniel Lynch, Lindsey Lynch, Cole Lynch, Nathan Cronk, Mitchell Cronk and Aldrin; six great-grandchildren; a brother Larry Legitt and a sister Violet Greenwood; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters and brothers. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie with Pastor Heather Wigdahl officiating.
