Linda M. Nerison Obituary (1959 - 2022)

Linda M. Nerison, age 62, of Menomonie passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday May 6th, 2022. She was born June 5, 1959, in Menomonie, WI to Charles E. Borchert and Barbara (Closs) Jaeger. She grew up in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1978. Linda married Gaylan Nerison on October 9, 1998, and and have gathered love for one another till this day. Linda worked as a cook at the Hearty Platter Restaurant at exit 128 in Wilson, WI for most of her life. There she made lots of friends and was remembered for her unforgettable laugh. She attended Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, WI and later attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI. She enjoyed playing dress-up with her nieces, putting together puzzles, playing solitaire, visiting with her mom and socializing with family. She also loved to collect pig figurines which lead to her receiving the nickname “Skins”. Linda is survived by her husband, Gaylan of Menomonie, WI; two brothers Charlie Borchert of Menomonie, WI, and Marty Borchert of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles E. Borchert and Barbara (Closs) Jaeger. She is further survived by her two dachshund’s Nancy and Sandy. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville. Burial will be in Holden Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Grant, Dunn Co. WI. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI is serving the family.
