Lillian F. Schultz

Lillian F. Schultz, age 77, of Menomonie, WI passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at Our House Senior Living surrounded by family and friends.

The former Lillian Frances Schultz was born July 24, 1935 in Rice Lake, WI to James and Beulah (Olson) Schultz. She married Herbert D. Schultz on October 6, 1951 in Menomonie. To this union four children were born, Pamela, Steven, Curtis and Scott.

Lillian worked as a custodian at U.W. Stout for many years, retiring in 1999. She also belonged to homemakers for many years.

Lil loved fishing, hunting, gardening and her flowers. The old deer hunting crew still miss her breakfasts. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and sewing. Lil was a Packer fan and always enjoyed a good game of "Boyceville Euchre". Most importantly, Lil enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Everyone was always welcome at Herb and Lil's. She will be sadly missed.

Lillian is survived by her children, Pamela of Greenfield, WI, Steven (Peggy) of Menomonie, Curtis (Penny) of Menomonie and Scott (Lori) of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Harley), Eric, Adam (Missy), Magan (Joe), Derik, Rachael, Andrew and Garrett; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Beulah; her husband, Herb; brothers and sisters, Lois Eytcheson, Richard Schultz, Nancy Foster and Donald Schultz and several in their youth. She was also preceded in death by nephews and nieces, Brian, Terry, Jayne and Rebecca Eytcheson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor Brett Voigt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
