Lawrence "Larry" R. Halvorson Obituary (1927 - 2021)

Lawrence “Larry” R. Halvorson, age 94, of Menomonie, WI passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at The Neighbors of Dunn County with hospice. He is survived by his wife Mildred "Millie" (Dahlby) Halvorson; son-in-law Charles Legato; grandchildren, Joseph Legato and Mia Legato. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Mabel Halvorson; two brothers, John and Merlin Halvorson; two sisters, Beatrice Miller and Minda Keyes; and his daughter Joanne Legato. A Graveside Service with military honors by Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Froen Cemetery in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County, WI. A lunch will be served at Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church following the graveside service. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
