Larry K. Smith Obituary (1941 - 2019)

Larry K. Smith, age 78, of Menomonie, WI formerly of Boyceville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 at The Neighbors of Dunn County. He was born March 4, 1941 in Boyceville, WI to Lawrence and Margaret (Mittlestadt) Smith. Larry is survived by his wife Karen of Menomonie; son Kevin Smith of Boyceville; and daughter Lori (Dale) Feyen of Wheeler. He is also survived by grandchildren Cody Smith, Zack Smith (Franny), Krista Smith and Alex Fremouw; and great-grandchildren Oliver Smith and Jasper Hagen and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Margaret Smith, and granddaughter Kaleigh Smith. Larry enjoyed farming and family. His love for animals had no boundaries. He was a dedicated hard worker and enjoyed working at Ohly America for many years. He will be missed by all. There will be visitation from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. Burial will be in Tiffany Cemetery in Boyceville, WI at a later date. The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and The Neighbors of Dunn County for their loving care of Larry.
