Kathryn Taylor Obituary (1929 - 2004)

KATHRYN E. TAYLOR Kathryn E. Taylor, age 74, of Menomonie, WI died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. The former Kathryn Elaine Forseth was born April 6, 1929 in Fond du Lac, WI to Herman and Mary (Bierns) Forseth. She served in the U.S. Army for three years. Kathryn married James Robert Taylor on May 13, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN. Besides raising her family, Kathryn worked as a waitress in Minneapolis for many years. Following her husband's death in 1976, Kathryn moved to Menomonie, WI. She has resided at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie for the past year. Kathryn loved spending time with family especially her grandson. She also enjoyed playing cards and monopoly. Kathryn is survived by: 3 children, Michael Alan Forseth of Ellsworth Victoria Rose (Richard Lee) Wibel of Menomonie Roberta Lou Taylor of Altoona A grandson, Richard James Wibel 3 brothers, Allen, Ronnie and Gary Forseth of LaCrosse She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Robert Taylor; and 1 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Paul Pillman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
