Judith D. (Quilling) Berg Obituary (1947 - 2016)

Judith Dianne (Quilling) Berg, age 69, of Eau Claire, WI passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith, WI. She was born November 5, 1947 in Menomonie, WI to John and Lillian (Krause) Quilling. Judith was raised in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County, WI and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1965 and later from the Chippewa Valley Technical School secretarial program. On September 20, 1975 Judith married David Berg in Menomonie. They were later divorced. She worked for Herrick and Hart Law Office in Eau Claire, G.M. Financial and then the Eau Claire County Courthouse for the Corporation Council for over 25 years, retiring in 2012. Judith was an avid Packers and Badgers fan. She loved to cook and enjoyed entertaining and going to lunch with her bowling team. She also loved her summers at Lake Holcombe. Judith is survived by her sister, Vickie (Larry) Shepard, her brother Mark (Lisa) Quilling; a special friend Dale Arndt; her aunt Gladys Waller; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Quilling. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor Kristine Stedje officiating. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
