John K. Markey, age 59, of Rock Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at Luther hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 29, 2017. John was born February 26, 1958 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He attended school in Durand and graduated in 1976. John Married Joyce Crane, August 22, 1995 in Menomonie. Joyce had two daughters, Melissa and Michelle. John was employed at Midwest manufacturing in Eau Claire. He was a great brother, an awesome husband, and an overall great guy. John is survived by his brother Mike (Elona) Markey; his sister Donna (Dick) Karshbaum, both of Arkansaw, Wisconsin; Nephew, Jason (Brittaney) Karshbaum of Durand; Niece Nicole (Mike) Oswald of Cottage Grove, MN. Great Niece and Nephews, Jayden Oswald, Andrew Oswald, Bennett and Ella Karshbaum as well as Joyce’s daughters, Melissa Rogers of El Paso, Texas, and Michelle Limberg of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. John was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Markey; and his parents, Kenneth and Arlene Markey. A celebration of life ceremony for both John and Joyce will be held Wednesday, July 26th from 3-7pm at Arkansaw Community Center N6223 County Road N Arkansaw WI. 54721
