Elmer Drogseth

Elmer Leonard Drogseth, age 66 of Menomonie, WI passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 on his farm. Elmer was a retired Army AirBorne Ranger who served two tours with the 101st and the 82nd AirBorne Divisions before becoming medically disabled. He then fought his last battle with lung cancer. Elmer is survived by two sons, one brother and two sisters, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews, along with a lifetime of many friends. Services will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wheeler, WI on June 3rd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service. Please join us in sharing your memories. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family. Military honors will be conducted by Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard. Burial services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on June 9th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
