Eleanor J. Larson Obituary (1926 - 2019)

Eleanor Julia (Poeschl) Larson, age 92 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 9th. Her last days were spent surrounded by family and the wonderful staff of The Neighbors of Dunn County. Ellie was born in Durand, WI on July 9, 1926 to Ed and Julia Poeschl. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, and sister Verna (Fansler). Ellie is survived by her sister Jeanette (Werlein), countless cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss her dearly. Ellie enjoyed cooking and made the best homemade pies! She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. A short visitation is planned from 10 - 11am on Saturday, January 19 with the service immediately following at 11am. Visitation and service will be held at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie.
