DALE L. OTTO Dale L. Otto, age 43, of Menomonie, WI died Sun., Sept. 28, 2003 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, following a year long battle with Esophageal Cancer that metastasized to his lungs, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov. 11, 1959 in Eau Claire, WI to Gerald and Clara (Tischmann) Otto and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1978. Dale married his high school sweetheart, Shelley McQuiston on Aug. 29, 1981 in Menomonie, and they had three beautiful daughters. He was employed at Con-Agra Food in Menomonie for over 19 years. Dale was a hardworking man, who you could say was a workaholic. He will always be remembered as a man with very high standards and for his unique sense of humor. He loved old tractors, Harley Davidson motorcycles and vintage cars and trucks. Another passion was his hobby farm and raising beef cattle. Dale also loved and cared for his family very much and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Dale is survived by: His wife, Shelley of Menomonie His three daughters, Amy, Ashley and Amanda of Menomonie His parents, Gerald and Clara Otto of Menomonie Three brothers, Todd (Karen) Otto of Menomonie Darby Otto of Eau Claire Troy Otto of Menomonie He is also survived by an aunt and uncle, Donavon and Mildred Tischmann, who were like parents to him. Also a very special little girl, Kaylee Eichmann And further survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Bob Friese officiating. Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and an hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
