Corey M. Martinson Obituary (1984 - 2015)

Corey M. Martinson, age 30, of Wheeler, WI passed away unexpectedly at his home, on Monday, Mar. 2, 2015. He was born April 20, 1984 in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Colfax High School in 2002. Corey married Kimberly Lehmann on Dec. 16, 2010 in Menomonie. They have resided in the Wheeler area. Corey enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his family and will be sadly missed. Corey is survived by his wife Kimberly his step-children Jamie and Wyatt Lehmann his adoptive parents Jo and Bill Martinson; his father and mother-in-law Russell and Susan Hitz; three brothers Kevin Walton, Ray Frey and Troy Martinson; three sisters Elizabeth Colman, Gail Wise and Karen Johnson; his Grandma Bev Sadlovsky; his God parents Margie Rude and Ed Bird; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his, mother Jennelle, Grandfather Gary Sadlovsky, his brother Chester Martinson, and sister Dolley Bird A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Wendy Slaback and Pastor Leslie Walck officiating. There will be visitation from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Colfax, in the spring.
