Clebourne Graff Obituary (1918 - 2014)

Clebourne M. Graff, age 95 of Lucas Township, Wisconsin, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Solomon Hills Adult Family Home. He was born June 24, 1918 in Lucas Township, WI the son of Ira and Marjorie (Morgan) Graff. He graduated from Dunn County Aggie. On June 11, 1941 he married Laura Bosshart in Clear Lake, WI. Clebourne and his wife, Laura farmed together in The Town of Lucas. They also owned and operated Graff Nursing Home in Menomonie for over 20 years. After selling the nursing home they continued to operate a community-based residential facility on the home farm. Clebourne loved children as he and Laura also had a daycare in Menomonie. He was a very family orientated person who loved to share time with family and friends. He was also a dedicated member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Menomonie for over 60 years. He loved the outdoors and animals in general. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and seeing the nation and in the past he had also enjoyed snowmobiling. He and Laura always had a huge garden and freely gave produce to anyone who needed it. He is survived by three children, Coral Sinex of Menomonie, Karen Jean (Richard) Maneage of Stuart, FL and Cleora (Leon) Herrick of Menomonie; eleven grandchildren, Linda Nielsen, Judy Boguslawske, Daniel (Debra) Nielsen and David (Rita) Jackson, Brian (Virginia) Jackson, Sheryl (Steve)Metz, Rachelle (Brian) James, Ragina (Sean) Dillon and Jodi Stringer, Aaron (Kim) Stringer and Jill (Walley) Seichter; twenty-two great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister, Myrna (Chris) Franzwa; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Marjorie (Morgan) Graff; his wife, Laura (2001); one son, Gerald; one grandson, Andrew Jackson; one sister, Avis; and two brothers, Clayton and Lowell Graff. Funeral Services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Menomonie. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and also ½ hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in the spring at Lucas Cemetery, Lucas Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin.
