CHARLES E. ROGERS Charles E. Rogers, age 51, of Menomonie, WI formerly of Clarksburg, West Virginia, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI. He was born October 19, 1953 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Donald and Lucille (Hamrick) Rogers. He was raised in Clarksburg and graduated from Roosevelt-Wilson High School in 1971. On April 7, 1973 he married Brenda Scott in Stonewood, West Virginia. Charles worked at Eagle Convex, Lockheed Aircraft and Jerry Run AFG Glass Company in Clarksburg before moving to Menomonie in 1992 to work at Cardinal F. G. He was senior supervisor until being promoted to quality control manager, working out of Portage, WI. Charles was a member of the Clarksburg Masonic Lodge No. 155 and of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed watching his son in high school sports and was devoted to his family and job. He also loved his schnauzers, Holly and Heide. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Charles is survived by: His wife, Brenda of Menomonie A son, Joshua (Andrea) Rogers of Burnsville, MN His mother, Lucille Rogers of Parkersburg, WV A sister, Deborah Ann (David) Cumpston of Parkersburg, WV 2 nephews, Adam and John Cumpston of Parkersburg, WV And other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Michael Gormican officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday, where there will be a public Masonic Service at 8:00 PM by Menomonie Lodge No. 164. There will also be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
