Bettyanne R. Mattison Obituary (1928 - 2018)

Bettyanne R. Mattison, age 89 of Menomonie, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at The Neighbor’s of Dunn County in Menomonie. She was born on December 1, 1928 in Menomonie to Glenn and Beatrice (Warren) Siler. Bettyanne married Irvin Mattison on December 11, 1946 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie. She was a homemaker who raised 3 children and was a daycare provider for many years. Bettyanne was also a member of the VFW Women’s Axiliery 1039 for many years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family. Bettyanne is survived by 3 children; Lynne (Craig) Koser, Julianne (Gordon) Smith, Mark (Pam) Mattison, 5 grandchildren; Chad and Calli Schutts, Bridt (Chelsalyn) Smith, Calsey Bea Smith (fiancé Jacque Ince), LeChaun (Jamie) Boerner, 2 step grandchildren; Chastity and Courtney Pomasl, 8 great grandchildren; Channer, Brennah and Marissa Schutts, Miranda, Kamdyn, Kayden, Kynslee and Kaeylee Boerner, brother Myron (Kathy) Siler, sister Ione Dazinger, sister-in-law Mildred Siler. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Irvin, brothers; Eugene and Manny Siler, grandson Jamie Smith, son-in-law Jerry Schutts. Special thanks to Jim and Arlyn Treadwell, Charles and Betty Hazen, Twila Tiller, Lois Debee, a very special thank you to Dr. Rich as well as her granddaughter Calli, who went above and beyond in helping her grandma. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Randy Skow-Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie, WI. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
