Anita L. Radle

September 12, 1932 - June 15, 2016

Anita Radle, age 83, of Menomonie, WI passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. Anita was born September 12, 1932 in Menomonie, WI to Albert and Irene (Wolske) Oberle. She grew up in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1950. Anita married Robert Radle, April 15, 1952 at St. Joes Catholic Church in Menomonie. Together, they raised six children on a small farm south of Menomonie. They enjoyed spending time at their cabin, going fishing and boating with family and friends. For many years, Anita worked as a bartender at TJ’s Inn and The Creamery Inn in Downsville. She played league pool for over fifteen years, gathering many trophies along the way. She enjoyed her trips to the casino with her dear sisters, searching for second-hand treasures, collecting angels, painting most anything, and gardening. However, Anita’s greatest joy came from spending precious time with her family. She was always cooking and baking (with rhubarb this time of year) and her laughter was contagious. Anita loved animals, especially dogs, and had recently listed her many dogs waiting in Heaven. Anita is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Robert, her daughter; Kris Winter; her sons, James (Erin), Anthony (Kristi), Joey (Georgina), and Bruce; twenty grandchildren; Shayne, Joy, Ryan, Jordan, Jared, Ben, Jessie, Jeremy, Cody, Kayla, Jenny, Devin, Henry, Clara, Owen, Sam, Jake, Eric, Babes, and Shannon; and twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, her brother; Roy Oberle, sisters; Jerene Clements and Sue Lecheler, and dear friends; Marlene Utpadel and Val Nelson. She is preceded in death by her son, Dale, her parents, and her grandparents. At Grandma’s request, there will be a private family graveside service at Riverview Cemetery in Downsville.
