Aloisia Betty Stoeklen Obituary (1929 - 2015)

Aloisia Betty Stoeklen, age 85, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her home. Aloisia was born June 15, 1929 in Kufstein, Austria. On Dec. 23, 1960 she married Thomas L. Stoeklen in Garmisch, Germany. They moved to Menomonie, WI in 1963 and bought a farm in the Town of Lucas, Dunn Co. WI in 1964. She worked at the Kernel Restaurant as a cook, until Sept. of 1974 when she started work at 3M, retiring from there in Nov. of 1993. Spring was Aloisia’s favorite time of year. She enjoyed gardening, all the flowers and new life. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. Aloisia is survived by her children, Manfred Stoeklen of Friedburg, Germany, Patricia (Daniel) Suckow of Menomonie, Thomas (Tracie) Stoeklen of Menomonie; grandchildren, Tina (Doug) Decker, Mark (Caro) Stoeklen, Alisha Loofboro, Cody Stoeklen, Wayne Schmutz, Brooke Suckow, Nathan Suckow and Darrick Suckow; many great-grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa (Darwin) Ufford of CA and Mariane Muehlbichler of Italy; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stoeklen; daughter-in-law, Kitty Stoeklen; grandson, Arthur E. Heinz II; her parents and a brother. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. She will be buried next to her husband at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI at a later date.
