Allen G. Robertson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Allen G. Robertson, Sr, 85 years old, of Menomonie, WI and previously of Cameron, WI, passed away Saturday, August 7th, 2021, at Comforts of Home He was born August 10, 1935 in Cadott, WI to Harvey Robertson and Susie (Thuecks). He grew up in the Cadott area, attending Cadott High School. Allen’s hobbies included hunting and fishing and spending time at the lake. Allen worked as a meat cutter with National Tea Company and later in life small meat shops. Allen married Barbara Collins in 1952 and had 6 children. Allen worked at National Tea Company as a butcher for many years. Following a divorce, Allen married Deanna Kurtz on July 13th, 1976. Allen passed peacefully, 3 days short of his 86th birthday, with family by his side. Allen is survived by his wife Deanna of Cameron, WI, 3 sons Allen Jr (Sharon) Robertson of Bloomer, Scott (Lori) Robertson of Glenwood City and Corey Robertson of Chippewa Falls; one daughter Linnea (Tom) Anderson of Osseo, 2 sons-in-law Byron Schwartz and Patrick Brunner; 5 step-children Nancy (Tom) Stadler of Fall Creek, Melissa (Tom) Smith of Rice Lake, Monica Orient, Anthony Kurtz and Thomas Kurtz; one brother Julius (Sally) Robertson, 4 brothers-in-law Doug Falkenberg, Dennis (Irene) Marcott, Gary McGee, Steve Marcott and Henry Marcott; 3 sisters-in-law Kathy Marcott, Mary (Tom) Ryan and Debra (John) Stange; he is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Susie, 2 daughters Holly Schwartz and Rahna Brunner, 3 sisters JoAnn Bushland, Evelyn Tatzel and Colleen Falkenberg, brothers-in-law Jim Marcott, Abe (Robert) Bushland, James Vajgrt, Louis Tatzel, sisters-in-law Peggy Marcott and Rebecca McGee. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Teresa Pejsa officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
