ALLEN C. PHILLIPS Allen Charles Phillips, age 55, of Menomonie, WI died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born January 30, 1949 in Menomonie, WI to Jesse L. and Mavis (Burck) Phillips and baptized at Peace Lutheran Church. He attended Twin Hill Elementary School in the Town of Weston and Menomonie High School. Allen has resided in Dunn County all of his life, working on the family farm and also at Phillips and Sons Feed Mill. He loved fishing, playing cards, especially cribbage, riding bike, and he enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with good friends. Allen is survived by: 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Irene M. (Edwin) Johnson of Spring Valley Raymond L. Phillips of Elmwood Russell B. Phillips of Menomonie Audrey A. (Larry) Stabenow of Wheeler Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Anna Burck and Burleigh and Olive Phillips; his parents, Jesse and Mavis Phillips; and a nephew, Kyle James Stabenow. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2004 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Rev. Steven Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends can call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
