Tim Schneider Obituary (1958 - 2010)

TIM E. SCHNEIDER Tim Eugene Schneider, age 51, died at his home in Centennial, Colorado, on Friday, September 3, 2010. He was born Oct. 20, 1958 in Menomonie, WI to Eugene and Audrey (Miller) Schneider. He was a graduate of Menomonie High School and of U.W. Stout with a degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. Tim worked for two years in a group home as supervisor and care taker for mentally and physically handicapped children. He began working for United Airlines as a flight attendant in 1985 and was employed there for 25 years. He was also an active member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora, CO. Tim will be remembered for his love of life, family, friends, and most of all flying. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Audrey of Spooner, WI; daughter, Meghan of Ft. Collins, CO; sons, Derek and Joseph of Aurora, CO; his two brothers, Tom (Rhonda Evenson) of Trego, WI and Mark (Jennifer Hintzman) of Knapp, WI; his friend Brad as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eda Jean; father, Eugene Schneider; grandparents, Ida and August Miller and Hermine Ooley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor David Whelan officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
