Sherrie Casey Obituary (1969 - 2011)

Sherrie Lynn Casey, age 42, of Boyceville, WI passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at home with her family by her side, after a courageous four year battle with cancer. On Sept. 12, 1969, Sherrie Lynn Troester was born in Guttenberg, Iowa to Al and Fran (Brush) Troester. She attended Mount St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa. Sherrie married Brian Casey on June 1, 1991 and together they raised three children, Zachary, Tyler and Kamden. Sherrie was an avid sports fan of football, baseball and Nascar. But most important to Sherrie was her family, whom she loved dearly, always putting her children first. During her courageous battle with cancer Sherrie's husband Brian and his sister Sherrie cared for her until the end. She will be sadly missed by her family. Sherrie is survived by: Her husband, Brian Two children, Tyler and Kamden Casey Her parents Al and Fran Troester A sister Tina Troester (fiancé Michael Russell) Father-in-law William Casey (fiancé Sue Petranovich) Mother-in-law Gloria (John) Connolly Grandmother-in-law Ruby Wheeler Sister-in-law Sherrie (Gary) Lynch Brother-in-law Joseph Casey Nieces and nephews, Tierney, Marisa and Lindsey Russell, Addison and Elizabeth Lynch, Kaenan, Noah and McKenzie Casey. Her Pet Dog, Tank. She was preceded in death by her son Zachary, maternal grandparents, Leonard and Margaret Brush, grandfather –in-law LaMont Wheeler, grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Albert and Flora Casey; Paternal Grandparents, Earl & Helen Troester. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Boyceville, with Father Norbert D'Mello officiating. There will be visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in the Town of Stanton, Dunn Co., WI. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
