Raymond I Story Obituary (1935 - 2017)

Raymond I. Story, age 82 of Menomonie, WI, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Red cedar hospital. Raymond Story was born August 25, 1935 in Durand WI to Charles Story and Ruby Briggs Story. He was a general laborer until 1980 when the sawmill he worked at laid him off. After that, as a stay at home dad, he lovingly cared for his two daughters until they grew up and left home. In the interim, he cared for his wife of 46 years, and was a wonderful father and grandfather. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Esther G. Story. (Jan 15, 2015) He is survived by his two daughters: Susan Anderson of Niles, MI; and Tammy Jo Story of Westby, WI. Grandchildren include: Keith Anderson of Niles MI, and Angela Anderson of Dowagiac, MI; Hannah Bechtel and Andrew Bechtel of Westby, WI, and Kayla (Kai) Bechtel of Corbin, KY; brother Ronald Story Services will be held at a later date in Menomonie, WI.
