Nora L. Kleist Obituary (1919 - 2010)

Nora L. Kleist Nora L. Kleist age 90, of Menomonie WI passed away Friday Jun 25, 2010 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. She was born July 22, 1919 in Weston Township, Dunn County, WI to James and Martha (Ziehme) Kizer. She grew up and was educated in the Menomonie area. Nora married Orval Kleist on August 6, 1939 at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, WI. Nora was a homemaker, Church and Hospital volunteer an Avon representative for 25 yrs, and assisted Orv with a wide variety of business ventures. Nora is survived by, Two daughters: Lois Fedderly; Nancy (Weldon) Rush Two sons: Orval (Janet) Kleist, Jr.; George (Lyn) Kleist 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grand children. A brother Gene Kizer a sister Margarite Blakely, a brother-in law Gene (Alice) Kleist and several nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Nora was preceded in death by husband Orval, her parents James and Martha (Ziehme) Kizer, brothers Vernon Kizer, Helmer "Dutch" Kizer, James, Jr. "Bud" Kizer, Velmer (Tim) Kizer, sister, Doris "Snookey" Comerford and son-in-law Charles "Jim" Fedderly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Rob MacDougall officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service, starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Cedar Falls Cemetery at a later date.
