Muriel M. Schultz Obituary (1928 - 2014)

Muriel M. Schultz, age 85, of Menomonie, WI passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Neighbors of Dunn County. The former Muriel Maxine Karnes was born Sept. 4, 1928 in Menomonie, WI to Clarence and Hazel (Frank) Karnes. Muriel worked at a variety of jobs throughout her life, but spent the majority of her life loving and caring for her family. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She loved RV camping, gardening, and was an impeccable homemaker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Muriel is survived by two children, Connie (Scott) McCurdy, Dennis (Kay) Turner; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Schultz; daughter, Vickie; sister, Janet Moore and brother Jack Karnes. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor Geoff Scott officiating. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery (formerly Reed cemetery) in the Town of Spring Lake, Pierce Co. WI at a later date. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie is serving the family.
