Michael A. Kegen Obituary (1961 - 2014)

Michael A. Kegen, age 53, of Boyceville, WI, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his home. Michael was born April 8th, 1961 to Lionel and Mary Kegen. He grew up on the family farm, and attended Boyceville Elementary and Boyceville High School. Michael married Denise Thatcher and they were later divorced. He always loved to spend his time outdoors and he especially loved to go hunting. Michael is preceded in death by his life partner, Dawn Miller. His brother Tim and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his children, Tim, Michaella, and Katie and Dawn’s sons, Clay, Joe, and Randy Miller and their families. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Taylor and Brayden; his parents, Lionel and Mary, his brother Jeff and his wife Connye, and his sister Heidi. He is further survived by his niece and nephews, September and Chris Bessler, Jared Kegen, Rob, Andy, and Mason Johnson, great-niece Kylie Johnson and by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. There will be visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Pastor Tim Matthaei officiating. Burial will be in Teegarden Cemetery at a later date.
