Luella A. Kistner Obituary (1934 - 2006)

Luella A. Kistner, age 72, of Menomonie, WI died Saturday Nov. 25, 2006 at her home. The former Luella Avis Lowe was born Feb. 21, 1934 in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI to Jesse and Linnie (Creaser) Lowe. She was raised in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School. Luella married Wesley "Toby" Kistner in Menomonie. They were married 18 years before divorcing. She worked at McMillan Electric Company in Woodville for over 20 years. Luella loved to go fishing and sit at the lake for hours and she enjoyed doing needle point. She also loved to cook sweets for her grandchildren and spoiled them rotten. Luella is survived by: 1 daughter and 3 sons all of Menomonie, Renee Cornellier Gary (Polly) Kistner Mike Kistner Jerry (Dawn) Kistner Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren And other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deb Kistner and 2 sons-in-law, Jerry Stabenow and Jack Cornellier. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Downsville, with Pastor Steve Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
