Levi P. Kumferman Obituary (1938 - 2008)

LEVI P. KUMFERMAN Levi P. Kumferman, age 70 of Menomonie, WI formerly of the Fall Creek, WI area passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born May 6, 1938 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Louis and Anna Marie (VanBuer) Kumferman. Levi served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1960. During most of his life, Levi worked as a mason. He lived in the Fall Creek and Augusta area until moving to Menomonie, where he has lived the past six years. Levi married Awanda Daniels in 1984. He loved hunting and fishing and he enjoyed doing small engine repair. Levi is survived by: His wife, Awanda A daughter, Regina Kumferman of Eau Claire Step-children, Bonnie (Mark) Nielson of Menomonie Robert Heath of Indiana Rick Heath of Eau Claire Randy Heath of Madison Donald Heath of Menomonie A granddaughter, Nacola Kumferman A grandson, Dusten Sobotta Step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren Brothers and sisters, Cadet Kumferman of Fairchild Victor Kumferman of Blair Zelda Brown of Fall Creek Woleta Kumferman of Boyceville Dalia Radke of Eau Claire And also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a stepson Roger. The family is planning a private celebration of Levi's life. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Strum, WI at a later date.
