Lenora Lausted-Score Obituary (1925 - 2010)

LENORA LAUSTED-SCORE Lenora Lausted-Score, age 84, of Colfax, WI passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. The former Lenora Mary Violet Prochnow was born July 28, 1925 in Red Cedar Township, Dunn Co. WI to Alfred and Lilly (Schaefer) Prochnow. She attended Clearview Grade School and graduated from Colfax High School in 1943. Lenora married Harold Lausted Sept. 1, 1945. Together they farmed in Tainter Township until their retirement in 1983. Harold died July 22, 1995. Lenora later married Raymond Score on June 10, 2006. Lenora was a lifetime member of Tainter United Methodist Church, where she was very active, singing in the church choir since 1934 and was organist/pianist since 1945. She was also a very active member of Dunn County Homemakers, recently receiving an award for her 55 year membership. Lenora was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Lenora is survived by: Her husband Ray of Colfax Three sons, Darold (Linda) Lausted Dean (Pamela) Lausted Dale (Rosemary) Lausted Grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Rudiger, Cally (Curt) Henderson, Matthew (Kristy) Lausted, Jason (Danielle) Lausted, Lindsey Lausted, Megan Lausted, Ryan Lausted and Aaron Lausted Great-grandchildren, Gavin, Holden and Lauren Rudiger, Evan and Gabe Henderson, Mason Lausted and Kennedi Lausted Step-children, Diane (Steve) Brown and David (Mary) Score Step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael (Jennifer) Bartlett and Kristina Bartlett, Peter and Ashley Score, Jacob and Taryn Score, Kari Score and Carly Score. Step-great-grandchildren, Evan and Allison Bartlett and Layla Score. A brother, Stan (Barb) Prochnow A sister, Edna Wilsey Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Lausted, her son Dana, sister Alice Veith and two brothers, Alvin and Leonard Prochnow. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Tainter United Methodist Church in Tainter Township, Dunn Co., WI with Pastor Jeanne Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
