JoAnne M. Hase Obituary (1948 - 2014)

JoAnne Martina (Milota) Hase, age 65, of Menomonie, WI passed away Monday November 17, 2014 at her home unexpectedly. She’s been fighting with C.O.P.D. over eight years and occasionally struggled with her breathing but no one knew it was her time to go. She was born Dec. 22nd, 1948 in St. Paul Minnesota to Fred Milota and Ruth (Harlan) Milota. She grew up in the St. Paul area with three brother. She graduated at Washington High School. Then in 1973 she met the love of her life John C. Hase and they got married January 12, 1974 in St. Paul. In a couples years they had their first child Denise L. Hase Feb. 9, 1976 and then on May 26, 1979 their daughter Dawn M. Hase. They eventually moved to Wisconsin and continued to reside in the Menomonie area. She was known for her big heart and silly fun filled ways. Always energetic and on the go and enjoyed singing silly made up songs that would put a smile on your face. She was a big jokester and loved making people laugh. She will be missed by so many people that will be forever touched by her heart. JoAnne was survived by: Husband, John of Menomonie Two Daughters, Denise Hase of Menomonie and Dawn Hase of Menomonie 6 Grandchildren, Brent Hase, Ceryck Krenke, Chassedy Krenke, Damion Tracy, Cayden Stauffacher, and Cianna Stauffacher Three brothers, Wayne (Donna) Milota, Harlan Milota and Richard Milota She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Diaconal Minister Heather Kistner officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
