Gordon Moe Obituary (1922 - 2002) - Menomonie, Wisconsin

GORDON R. MOE Gordon R. Moe, age 80, formerly of Boyceville, WI died Monday October 14, 2002 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. He was born Oct. 12, 1922 in the Town of Sherman, Dun Co., WI to Tom and Mina (Lien) Moe. Gordon graduated from Boyceville High School in 1945. He farmed with his parents in Wheeler then moved to a farm near Boyceville where he continued to farm. He lived on the farm until 1994 when he went to the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. Gordon enjoyed playing Bingo and cards at the Boyceville Senior Center and also enjoyed doing crafts at his home. Gordon is survived by: A sister, Jean (Dick) Abele of Zanesville, Ohio Other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends And a special friend, Evelyn McIntyre of Boyceville He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; and a sister, Marjorie Blasko. Memorial service will be at 2 PM Friday, October 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville with the Rev. Bradley K. Peterson officiating. Burial in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, twp. Hay River. Visitation from 1 PM until time of services at the church. Olson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
