Gilbert S. Keck Obituary (1925 - 2018)

Gilbert S. Keck, age 92, of Menomonie, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Gilbert Salem Keck was born April 8, 1925 in Boyceville, WI to Sailes and Mabel (Orfgan) Keck. He married Gerda Else Herzer on April 8, 1948. Gilbert served in the US Army during WWII. He worked as a milk hauler, farmer and for 40 years as a printer. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gerda, daughter Gloria Jean Keck, brothers and sisters; Esther Teegarden, Gerword and Duane Keck, Doris Smith, Sherwin Keck, Louise Sanders and Dennis Keck. Gilbert is survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, Burial with military honors will take place at Northern WI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery near Spooner, WI at a later date. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI is serving the family.
