Frances B. Schutts Obituary (1915 - 2012)

Frances B. Schutts, age 97 of Menomonie, WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 07, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Menomonie, with her family by her side. Frances was born September 18, 1915 in Menomonie, WI to Fred and Lydia (Baker) Haffelder. She was raised in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School. On November 6, 1942 she married Raymond Schutts in Menomonie. Frances worked many waitress jobs and also worked for her husband at the Menomonie Case tractor dealership. She went on to work in Medical Records at Red Cedar Medical Clinic in Menomonie, for many years. Frances enjoyed crafts and traveling with her sisters. She loved and was very devoted to her family. Frances is survived by three sons, Bill (Karen) of Menomonie, Steve (Kim) of Burnsville, MN and Scott (Debbie) of Menomonie; daughter-in-law, Lynne Koser of Menomonie; grandchildren, Chad Schutts, Calli Schutts, Josh Schutts, Jeremy Schutts, Amy Schutts, Kayla Schutts, Raelyn Schutts, Chris Meier, Nick Meier and Jessica Meier; three great grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond (1966); infant daughter, Barbie; son, Jerry; sisters, MaryEllen McCulloch and Marge Bushendorf; and brother, Gerald(Hap) Haffelder. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Don Gribble officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Menomonie. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie is serving the family.
