ELMER W. OTTO Elmer W. Otto, age 86, of Menomonie, WI died Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie. He was born Jan. 3, 1918 in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI to Arnold and Martha (Sievert) Otto. He was raised in the Town of Menomonie and attended Ideal Grade School. Elmer married the former Elaine Drinkwine on Nov. 8, 1941 in Menomonie. They farmed in the Town of Menomonie for many years, and Elmer also worked at Tramway Cheese, Lakeside Aluminum, spent one winter in Waukesha, and worked at McDonough Mfg. Elmer was a long time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Menomonie. Elmer is survived by: 3 daughters and 1 son, Sharon (Dennis) Neva of St. Croix Falls, Allen (Sherry) Otto of Menomonie Judith (Gary) Hinrichs of Menomonie Kathleen (O'Jay) Price of Menomonie 9 grandchildren Chris Olson, Shelley Olson, Brenda (Dan) Krueger, Steven Otto, Tim Hinrichs, Tom (Caryn) Hinrichs, Jayson Price, Jeremiah (Amanda) Price and Jessica (Corey) Kitchner. 8 great-grandchildren Breanna Olson, Alayna, Bennett and Kenna Krueger, Micah and Lilly Hinrichs, Levi Price and Rhianna Hinrichs. 2 sisters Irma Brown of Menomonie Margaret (Harvey) Brown of Prescott Nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Elaine. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Rev. Steve Schmeling officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
