ElRoy Kuhrt Obituary (1936 - 2005) - Menomonie, Wisconsin

ELROY V. KUHRT Elroy V. Kuhrt, age 68, of Menomonie, WI died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. Elroy was born August. 22, 1936 in the Township of Cumberland, Barron Co., WI to Charles and Marcia (Shearer) Kuhrt. He was raised in the Barron and Cumberland area and attended schools there. Elroy has lived in lived in the Menomonie area for quite a long time now. He worked in the bakery at Don's Super Valu and also at Ted's Pizza Palace and Alex's Pizza. On Oct. 21, 2000 Elroy married his long time friend, Mary Webster, at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie, surrounded by friends and family. Elroy enjoyed playing Bingo and Skipbo, watching T.V., listening to the radio or going shopping on his motorized cart. He also enjoyed people and telling a good joke. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Elroy is survived by: His wife, Mary of Menomonie 2 sisters and 3 brothers Beatrice (Bill) Bliven of Hillsdale Darwin (June) Kuhrt of Rice Lake Dwight Kuhrt of Barron Russell ( ) Kuhrt of Rice Lake Clementine (Edward) McManus of Barron Nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Ramona and Idella. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday Jan. 10, 2005 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Menomonie, with President Mark Decker officiating. Burial will be in Wayside Cemetery in Barron. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
