Dinah L. Harshman Obituary (1959 - 2018)

Dinah Lynn Harshman, age 58, of Menomonie, WI passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born April 16, 1959 in Menomonie, WI to Leona Peterson and raised by her grandparents, Fred and Anna Peterson. Dinah attended Coddington Grade School and Menomonie High School. On July 30, 1977, Dinah married Danny Harshman in Menomonie. One daughter, Linda, was born to this union. They later divorced. Dinah worked as a CNA for 23 years. She worked at Glenhaven in Glenwood City and most recently at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. Dinah loved her family, friends and her work family. She also enjoyed bowling and bowled league for many years. Dinah is survived by her daughter, Linda (Greg) Woodford; step-daughter Tonya (Darrin) Lehman, step-son Joel Harshman; grandchildren, Cheri, Jessyca, Brooklyn and Cody, Shannon, Leighann and Brianna; four great-grandchildren, Avery, Keenan, Rosie and Annabelle; her siblings, Douglas (Linda) Dyle, Penny (Dean) Neubauer, Terry (Marie) Dyle; also nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Leona Peterson; grandparents, Fred and Anna Peterson; sister Debra King; two brothers-in-law, Wayne King and Jerome Ottinger; and grandson Darrin Lehman Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Thomas Carlson officiating.
